Win A Book. Wurd.
Well, I was going to post a picture of the cover of The Big Picture, but WordPress won’t let me, so…sigh. Let’s just say WordPress and I are not getting along. If WordPress were a guy he’d be…I dunno, Jeff Goldbloom. (Google him because I CAN’T post a stinkin’ picture.) and my old trusty Blogger would be…Orlando Bloom.
Anyway, don’t forget if you want to be in the running for a copy of The Big Picture, leave a comment on the stinkin’ blog and email at this addy: jen at jennybjones.com. I appreciate all the kind thoughts and entries so far! I know, I know–the competition for the book is already so fierce. You probably can’t sleep, can’t eat, thinking about your possible windfall. Very similar to the night before PowerBall.
So Venezuela has decided to do away with The Simpsons and swap it with Baywatch instead. This was my favorite line from Eonline.com today. Venezuela has replaced Homer Simpson with a different type of boob.
So for my birthday last week I got THE best present. My nephew got baptized!
Here he is in another picture.
That’s his “If you take one more picture I’m about to get unholy on you” look.
So I’m in the middle of editing book B, writing book C, and working on promotional stuff for book A. Things have been a little bit stressful. Sometimes when things get crazed, I seek my solace in an old stand-by. I look to one who has been through the valley and come out on the other side.
Ahh, a classic. You just can’t go wrong with Jessie and the uber dangerous caffeine pills. Today those things are more socially acceptable. We call it Red Bull.
Have a good Wednesday.
Jen

Hi Jen!!
Wordpress will let you upload pictures, or copy and paste them (I posted a picture of the 1st and 2nd book on my blog). i hope you don’t have a problem with it. I love your books they rock. I just wish my library would actually be able to order it before a year passes (yes that’s how long it took to get On the Loose). Did you also know that your books are no where in Barnes and Nobles not even on the shelves in Phoenix, or in New York City, or Buffalo New York. (I Looked as I wanted to buy it to read while I was on the train). I don’t understand why, I’m not an ordering type of girl when I want my book I want it now. HAHA! Anyways I love Katie, and I’d love to be able to read the newest book sometime soon. I’d buy your books, but with the way I read I wouldn’t have money to live. (I read 1 book/novel about a day.) I picked up On the Loose on Sunday and just finished it at the end of Tuesday! And this is from not reading continuously. Anyways I’m hoping that you don’t end this series until it’s well over 20 books, or maybe until Katies an adult ( I love series). Anyways if you have time please comment me back.
I’d love to hear from you.
Also some tips on how to get a book published or an editor all those helpful tips would be great if possible, I want to know the key, I had something written and then of course lost it all ( I had 2 chapters, something that doesn’t come often for me!).
Thanks,
Dannie
CLASSIC Jessie Spano! What an awesome way to start a Wednesday!
I don’t even know how to use “wordpress!” Your nephew is cute and he reminds me of my sons when they are done with the picture taking. I don’t like to have my picture taken at all!!!!!! I like the line about the Simpsons and Baywatch. Thanks,Cindi
Your nephew is adorable! Although… he’d probably prefer the word handsome. Well, either works.
Yep. The tension here is increasing as we all wait for the latest Katie Parker book. Everyone’s dying to find out how it wraps up, before diving into your next series. I’ll probably pitch a tent outside Barnes and Noble once the new books are released.
Please enter me in the contest for The Big Picture. Everyone’s probably groaning (”Cannot this girl stop entering every book contest online?”), but I’ve been dying to get a copy since I read the first chapter. Though I don’t know if I’ll have to send in my mailing addy again…
Blessings! I go to dig up my tent and find the nearest B&N.
Well, I should say I want this book for my 13-year-old daughter, Jessie, who LOVES your books, but the truth is IT’S FOR ME!!! Being the good and concerned mom I am, I made her wait until I previewed the first two (to make sure they weren’t too “old” for her), to which she said, “Whatev, Mom!” I promise I will pass this on to her as well, just as soon as I’m finished reading them!!! I understand, however, if these giveaways are supposed to be for girls. . .just address mine to Miss Jessie Blackburn, and I’ll be sure she gets it!!! (FYI: A lady I used to work with (Janice) who claims to be related to you by marriage recommended your books to me for my daughter, and I’m so glad she did.)
Once again…you light up my life…

Awww! Your nephew is so cute!
&& seriously, must Saved By the Bell be everywhere I go? I feel like the show is haunting me. Not only does The-N seem to place it 24/7, my DVR messed up and recorded the audio to that show over Instant Star and Degrassi (and I don’t even record Saved By The Bell).
